My wife and I have lived in Huntington Beach for over a decade. We rented in a MHP near the beach in 2011. Our rent was $1800 and rapidly increased to an unmanageable $2700 per month. It was very scary.
A family member needed help in a family owned HB MHP. So in 2015 we moved in at $940 a month with a mortgage. My job situation has changed and I now work 5 jobs to keep up with the $1100 space rent, mortgage, utilities, MH insurance, and more. We pay a discouraging 90% of our income per month on housing.
